You’re Right Where You Are

Our Summer Pride Well-being Fair was this last weekend and it was a rich day of content presented by our all LGBTQ+ team. We gathered in beautiful community and shared food, conversation and fun!

The program of the day was a very diverse offering of speakers, teachers and practitioners who shared their views and practices of well-being through the modalities they specialize in. We’ll soon have more pictures of the day taken by photographer, @niko_storment to give a perspective of the dynamic day in photos.

There’s so much to see and do and rather than suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out) or WIWaB (wish it was better), consider finding a way to be content with what IS happening. Contentment doesn’t mean grin and bear it – it’s a Yogic practice of deep gratitude for all of life’s movements. We’re all missing out on something every single moment, good and bad. We can forever wish for things to be different…like saying, “I wish I would have been at the Well-being Fair!” 😀

This coming weekend will be filled with all kinds of things to do and when we choose to do one thing, it means we’re choosing to miss something else. We can’t do everything all the time all at once…well, until we are one with the universe. :]

Our time on this planet is a gift. May we never take it for granted. And may we also do our best to accept the limitation of time and space and show up for this life as compassionate beings. May we creatively tend to our own well-being and the well-being of others.

Pride celebrates our present moment by acknowledging those who fought for our personal dignity and human rights as an LGBTQ+ community. And we can celebrate in our own quiet or loud & proud ways. If we’ve felt like we were wrong for being ourselves, may we gain access to feel right however, whomever and wherever we are.

Let’s stay connected,

Marc Morozumi
